Inside Out is a summer program from girls entering grades 5th-7th grades where they exercised their minds, bodies and voices while discovering what lies at their core and bringing it out! REGISTER NOW!
Throughout the summer the girls worked with Molly Mae on creative writing and journaling. The girls developed their writing skills as well as discovered their inner-voice.
Inside Out also had the opportunity to work with Gallatin Valley Land Trust to start to eliminate burdock, a noxious weed, in one of our local parks! The girls had a great time giving back to the community and really enjoyed chopping down the weeds!
This summer the girls also worked with Heidi Makoutz with the true to your core cirriculum which offer opportunities to creatively explore and express how we see and define ourselves. In a culture that shouts at you left and right about being “hard core” it is perhaps even more important to question and develop what it means to be true to your core. Individually and as a group the girls plugged in their strengths and identified what they want to be true in life.

“It is awesome because you get to meet new people and hear their writing, and have someone to guide you through and teach you that you are an individual, there is no one like me and I am the special person that my family loves.” -Inside Out Participant
