I have been in Girls for A Change for three years now, and although I am excited to go somewhere new, I know that I will miss the girls I have come to know in this organization, and I will truly miss spending my Sunday evenings with this energetic and fun group of girls!

Next year I plan to go to Linfield College, in McMinnville Oregon. I am planning on majoring in nursing and eventually going to graduate school to become a certified Nurse Practitioner. When I applied to Linfield I was unsure if I could handle the distance from my home, family and friends. However, I realized that because of Girls for A Change, I have become more independent and proud of whom I am as an individual, and I know that I can take this next step in my life and not be afraid.

Girls for A Change taught me to speak out among my peers and to take risks, and because of it I know that no matter what I do in my life, I will be successful! Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience, I will miss you all! Keep in touch!
