Zoe Craig

Zoe Craig, Class of 2010

  • Name: Zoe Craig
  • Years in GFAC: 3

My plans after graduation include going to college, travelling the world, backpacking in remote areas of the world, and meeting amazing people. My plans don’t get much more specific than that. I won’t know where I’m going to college until the end of May, and I won’t know what I’m majoring in probably for another couple of years. Maybe I will be a writer, or a designer, or a scientist, or maybe something else. But I will be successful according to my own concepts of success and I will stand up for what I believe in no matter what my unclear future holds.

I can’t say that being in Girls for a Change has impacted my decisions about my future plans, but it has impacted my future in innumerable ways by impacting me. Girls for a change has helped me become a more confident and assertive young woman, and it has given me a profound sense of believing in myself. The future is full of possibilities, and Girls for a Change has helped show me them.

Thanks to all the GFAC women and girls! I’ll miss you!
